I am pleased to offer our first spiritual book study group. Adyashanti is a contemporary realized non-dualism teacher who has informed my practice greatly. We will explore the meditative and conscious insights in his latest book: Falling into Grace- Insights on the End of Suffering (Sounds True Inc. 2011)
‘ Adyashanti asks us to let go of our struggles with life and open to the full promise of spiritual awakening, the end of delusion and discovery of our essential being. In Falling into Grace, Adyashanti shares what he considers fundamental insights that will ” spark a revolution in the way we perceive life”
The book study format will include open discussion of the chapters focuses, personal sharing of how your meditative practice is unfolding and how to integrate and embody the spiritual awakening of releasing identity with ego.
Areas of exploration,discussion and practice:
- ‘The Human Dilemma’-Concept of Seperate self and the choice to stop believing the thoughts that create seperation and suffering
- “ Taking the Backward Step” Into the pure potential of the present moment.
- ‘Why Spiritual Awakening can be a Disturbing Process’
- ‘Intimacy and Availability’-Feeling absolute union (the true meaning of yoga) with every part of our experience
- ‘True Autonomy’: the unique expression of our own sense of freedom..
This is a wonderful opportunity to advance your practice within a satsang (supportive group) . I encourage your exploration.
